Animated Gif Quality gif-q

Controls the output quality of animated GIF files, enabling you to optimize and reduce file size as needed.

The scale for gif-q works differently from the q parameter for single-frame images. Instead of a 1-100 scale with 100 being the highest quality, gif-q defaults to the highest quality value of 0 and is open-ended on the amount of compression that can be applied. We recommend a value between 50 and 200 for a good balance of quality and compression, keeping in mind that animated GIF quality is often low to begin with.
