Animated Gif Quality gif-q
Controls the output quality of animated GIF files, enabling you to optimize and reduce file size as needed.
The scale for gif-q
works differently from the q
parameter for single-frame images. Instead of a 1-100
scale with 100
being the highest quality, gif-q
defaults to the highest quality value of 0
and is open-ended on the amount of compression that can be applied. We recommend a value between 50
and 200
for a good balance of quality and compression, keeping in mind that animated GIF quality is often low to begin with.
See the API specification for more information about this parameter's value ranges and format.
