Waveform Overlay

video-wave

The video-wave parameter enables a real-time audio waveform overlay (Audiogram) on your output. When applied to animated formats such as MP4 or GIF, the waveform animates in sync with the audio. When applied to static formats such as JPG or PNG, a “whole-song” view representing the entire audio track is rendered instead.

If video-wave=true is requested on a video with no audio track, the parameter is silently ignored and the output is processed normally.

video-wave accepts the following values:

  • true — enables the waveform overlay.
  • false — disables the waveform overlay (default).
