Single Sign-On (SSO)
Imgix offers enterprise-grade Single Sign-On (SSO) support, enabling your team to securely access our platform using your existing Identity Provider (IdP), such as Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Ping Identity, and others. We leverage Auth0 to facilitate these integrations, ensuring broad compatibility and a secure authentication flow.
Self-Service SSO Onboarding
To streamline the SSO setup process, Imgix provides a self-service onboarding experience powered by Auth0. This allows your administrators to configure SSO in under 15 minutes without extensive back-and-forth communication.
How It Works:
Initiate Onboarding:
Contact your Imgix representative or support team to request SSO setup. We will provide a unique self-service access link tailored to your organization.
Configure SSO:
- Access the self-service assistant via the provided link.
- Select your Identity Provider (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).
- Follow step-by-step instructions to configure the connection, including:
- Providing IdP metadata (XML file or URL).
- Setting up necessary attributes and claims.
- Optionally verifying your domain.
Test and Activate:
- Use the built-in testing feature to ensure the SSO connection works as expected.
- Once confirmed, the integration becomes active, and your users can authenticate via SSO.

Information Required for SSO Setup
To facilitate the SSO integration, please have the following information ready:
- Identity Provider Metadata:
- XML file or metadata URL.
- Entity ID:
- If different from the default.
- User Domains:
- List of email domains to enable SSO for.
- Authentication Method:
- Specify if you require:
- Service Provider (SP)-Initiated SSO.
- Identity Provider (IdP)-Initiated SSO.
- Specify if you require:
Optional:
- SSO Enforcement:
- Indicate if you wish to enforce SSO for all users.
- SCIM Provisioning:
- Specify if you require automated user provisioning and deprovisioning via SCIM. This feature is forthcoming.
