Drop Shadow Azimuth
drop-shadow-azimuth
The drop-shadow-azimuth parameter sets the compass direction the light comes from, in degrees. It defaults to 215, and values wrap, so -45 is the same as 315.
0 puts the light behind the subject, so the shadow falls down the image toward the viewer. 90 puts it to the right, throwing the shadow left. It is the parameter that decides where on the floor the shadow lands.
Match it to the lighting in whatever the cut-out is being placed onto. The renderer does not read the photograph’s own lighting, so a subject lit from the left with its shadow thrown left will look wrong no matter how good the shadow is.
It is read only by drop-shadow-type=cast.
