Drop Shadow Color
drop-shadow-color
The drop-shadow-color parameter sets the shadow’s color. It accepts any color Imgix accepts and defaults to BF000000 — black at 75% opacity.
In the 8-digit AARRGGBB form the first pair of digits is the alpha, which is how you control the shadow’s darkness. 80000000 is a lighter black shadow; BF1a1a40 is a navy one at the default opacity.
A colored shadow is what separates a designed look from a default one: a shadow tinted toward the background it falls on reads as light bouncing, while pure black reads as a sticker.
With drop-shadow-type=inset a bright color turns the shadow into a glow.
A color that cannot be parsed falls back to the default and is left out of the X-Imgix-Params response header.
