Drop Shadow Falloff
drop-shadow-falloff
The drop-shadow-falloff parameter fades the shadow out toward its far tip, from 0 to 100. It defaults to 0, which keeps the shadow at an even opacity along its whole length.
Raising it makes the shadow strongest where it touches the subject and progressively lighter as it stretches away. Real shadows do this, so a small amount of falloff usually looks better than none — particularly with a low drop-shadow-elevation, where an unfaded shadow can dominate the frame.
It is read only by drop-shadow-type=cast, and values are clamped to 0-100.
