Gradient Angle
gradient-angle
The gradient-angle parameter sets the direction a linear gradient runs. It defaults to 180, top to bottom.
Angles follow the CSS convention, naming the direction the gradient runs toward: 0 points up, and angles turn clockwise. Any number wraps, so -90 is the same as 270.
| Angle | Direction |
|---|---|
0 | To the top |
90 | To the right |
180 (default) | To the bottom |
270 | To the left |
You can also name a side or a corner directly: top, bottom, left, right, top, right, bottom, left and so on. A corner’s exact angle depends on the picture’s aspect ratio, as it does in CSS.
An unrecognized value falls back to 180. gradient-angle is read for linear gradients only.
