Audio Mark Mode

audio-mark-mode

Controls whether the audio overlay is mixed under the original soundtrack or replaces it entirely.

ValueEffect
mix (default)The overlay is folded under the original track; the original stays at full volume
replaceThe original track is dropped; only the conditioned overlay(s) are output

mix mode is the default. The overlay plays at the level set by audio-mark-volume beneath the original soundtrack. Use this for a music bed under dialogue or ambience under narration.

replace mode drops the original audio entirely and outputs only the overlay(s). Use this to swap a soundtrack wholesale — for example, replacing noisy on-camera audio with a clean studio mix. If the only overlay in replace mode fails to fetch, the original audio is kept as a fallback.

Ducking. audio-mark-duck only works in mix mode on a base with audio. It is ignored in replace mode.
