Video Assembly Transition Duration

Sets the overlap duration in seconds for segment transitions in a multi-asset assembly.

video-assembly-transition-dur accepts a float from 0 to 5. The default is 1.0 second. This value also locks the audio crossfade length so sound and picture always blend together.

A transition consumes this many seconds of overlap from both neighboring segments, so the assembled duration is the segment sum minus the overlaps. A very short segment automatically shortens its transitions (each boundary can take at most half of either neighbor); below a couple of frames the boundary degrades to a clean cut.
