Append

The append parameters place a second image beside the base image and grow the canvas to hold it. Unlike a watermark or a blend, which draw on top of the picture, an appended image sits next to it.

This is how you build a composite in a single URL: a logo strip under a product shot, a before-and-after pair, a photo with a caption card beside it.
