Caption Stay Highlighted

Controls whether highlighted words remain highlighted after being spoken in karaoke-style burn-in captions.

video-caption-stay accepts a boolean value. This parameter applies only when video-caption-style=karaoke is set.

• true — Words that have been spoken remain in the highlight color (video-caption-highlight-color) after the playhead passes them. Only the current word transitions; previous words stay highlighted.
• false — Spoken words revert to the base color (video-caption-color) after the playhead advances. This is the default karaoke behavior.
