Caption Style
video-caption-style
Sets the burn-in caption animation style for captions rendered directly into the video frames.
video-caption-style accepts one of the following values:

|---|---|
plain | Static captions with no word-level animation. All words in the current caption line are shown simultaneously. |
karaoke | Words are highlighted as they are spoken. Pre-spoken words appear in the base color; the currently spoken word transitions to the highlight color. |
word-pop | Each word appears individually as it is spoken, replacing the previous word. |
Burn-in captions require video-generate-subtitles=true to generate the transcription. The captions are composited directly into the video frames — they cannot be toggled off by the viewer.
Use video-caption-color and video-caption-highlight-color to control text colors. Use video-caption-font, video-caption-size, and video-caption-align to control typography and placement.
