Halftone Direct To Film
dtf-halftone
Applies a half-toning effect to transparent pixels in an image.
Accepts a value between 1
and 100
. The default value is 0
, which leaves the image unchanged. The value controls the pixel density relative to the alpha channel values. The higher the value, the more dots are used to create the halftone effect.
This effect is primarily useful for DTF (Direct to Film) printing - a technique that uses tiny dots of varying sizes and spacing to create detailed, gradient-like images on transfer films. This allows for smoother color transitions, intricate shading, and fine details when transferring designs onto fabric or other surfaces using a DTF printer.
