Video Sharpen

Enhances edge definition in the video output by applying an unsharp mask filter.

video-sharpen accepts a positive numeric value representing the sharpening strength. Higher values produce more pronounced edge enhancement. A value of 0 disables sharpening.

Sharpening is applied in the GPU pipeline before encoding. It is useful for compensating for slight softness introduced during downscaling or to add crispness to footage that was captured with a soft lens. Avoid using high values on noisy footage, as sharpening will amplify the noise.
