Imgix APIsVideo API

GIF Frames Per Second

video-gif-fps

⚠️ Deprecated

Examples use the current Video API

This page documents a legacy parameter for imgix.video URLs, which are being retired. The example uses the current equivalent on imgix.net: fm=gif with fps in place of video-gif-fps. See Frame Generation for current GIF output.

Used with video-generate=gif to return an animated GIF URL generated from an imgix-encoded video. This parameter only works when video-generate is set to gif.

video-gif-fps is the frame rate (frames per second) of the generated GIF. Defaults to 15 fps and the maximum is 30 fps.
