Caption Embed VTT

Controls whether the source VTT subtitle track is muxed into the output alongside burn-in captions.

video-caption-embed accepts a boolean value. By default (true), when burn-in captions are active, Imgix also embeds the underlying VTT subtitle track into the output container. This gives viewers an additional selectable text track in the player alongside the burned-in captions.

Set video-caption-embed=false to suppress the embedded VTT track and deliver only the burned-in visual captions.
