PiP Chroma Key Despill

video-mark-chromakey-despill

Removes color contamination — known as “spill” — that the background reflects onto the edges of the subject in a chroma keyed picture-in-picture overlay.

When a subject is filmed in front of a green or blue screen, the background color often reflects onto the edges of the subject, leaving a green or blue fringe visible after keying. video-mark-chromakey-despill suppresses this contamination, producing a cleaner composite.

video-mark-chromakey-despill accepts a numeric value from 0 to 1. Higher values apply stronger despill correction. A value of 0 disables despill. The default value is 0.5.

Requires video-mark-chromakey to be set. Despill is applied after keying and feathering.

Use video-mark-chromakey-despill[N] to target a specific indexed overlay layer.
