Gradient Type
gradient-type
The gradient-type parameter chooses whether gradient is drawn as a straight band or radiating from a point. It takes linear or radial and defaults to linear.
A linear gradient is the one you want for a scrim along an edge. A radial gradient is the one you want for a vignette, darkening the corners while leaving the centre clear.
An unrecognized value falls back to linear.
gradient-angle applies to linear gradients only. The radial controls — gradient-radial-shape, gradient-radial-size, gradient-radial-x and gradient-radial-y — apply to radial ones.
