Video Contrast

video-contrast

Controls the difference between light and dark areas of the video output.

video-contrast accepts an integer from -100 to 100. 0 is neutral (no change). Positive values increase contrast, making bright areas brighter and dark areas darker. Negative values reduce contrast, producing a flatter, more washed-out image. This matches the scale of the Imgix image API’s con parameter.

This parameter is applied in the GPU color grading pipeline before encoding. It can be combined with video-brightness, video-saturation, and video-gamma.
