Video Gamma

Applies a gamma curve correction to the video output.

video-gamma accepts an integer from -100 to 100. 0 is neutral (no change). Positive values brighten the midtones (gamma expansion); negative values darken the midtones (gamma compression). This matches the scale of the Imgix image API’s gam parameter.

Gamma correction affects the midtones of the image without clipping highlights or crushing shadows, making it useful for compensating for display calibration differences or giving footage a specific look. It can be combined with video-brightness and video-contrast.
